Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to statsanimated.com (the "Site") and your reservation, enrollment in, and participation in the live online cram-cohort courses offered by Stats Animated ("we," "us," or "our"). By reserving a seat or using the Site, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

1.Agreement to Terms

By accessing the Site, reserving a seat, or enrolling in a Cohort, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Site or reserve a seat. We may modify these Terms at any time; changes are effective when posted, and your continued use constitutes acceptance.

2.Definitions

• "Cohort" / "Services" — a live, scheduled, small-group online course delivered over a defined set of sessions (currently four live sessions over approximately two weeks), plus any included materials and recordings.
• "Deposit" — the refundable payment that reserves your seat in a Cohort.
• "Founding Seat" / "Tuition" — the full price of enrollment in a Cohort.
• "Recordings" — video recordings of the live sessions made available to enrolled students.
• "You" / "Student" — the individual who reserves a seat or enrolls.

3.The Service

The Cohort is a live, instructor-led group course delivered online (e.g. via Zoom) on scheduled dates. Enrollment grants one individual a seat and access to the live sessions, the Recordings, and the included materials for personal, non-commercial, educational use. Your seat and access are personal to you and may not be shared, resold, or transferred.

4.Reservations, Deposits & Payment

• Deposit: you reserve a seat by paying a Deposit. The Deposit is fully refundable before the Cohort begins, as described in our Refund Policy.
• Tuition balance: the remaining Tuition for your Founding Seat is due as stated at the point of purchase (for example, charged before the first session). Pricing is shown clearly before you pay.
• Payment processing: payments are processed by Stripe. You authorize us, through Stripe, to charge your chosen payment method. We do not store your full card details. You are subject to Stripe's terms.
• Pre-sale / founding cohorts: some Cohorts are offered on a pre-sale basis before dates are finalized. If a Cohort does not reach minimum enrollment or is not run, all Deposits and payments for it are refunded in full automatically (see Refund Policy).
• Taxes: you are responsible for any applicable taxes.

5.Scheduling, Attendance & Delivery

• Session dates and times are stated before you enroll or are confirmed by email shortly after your Deposit. We aim to schedule each Cohort around a relevant exam window.
• Recordings: every live session is recorded and made available to enrolled Students, so you can rewatch or catch up on a session you miss.
• We may make reasonable adjustments to the schedule, format, or instructor with notice. If we must cancel a Cohort, we will refund affected Students in full (see Refund Policy).
• You are responsible for having a working internet connection and any standard tools your own course requires (e.g. a calculator or software your professor expects).

6.Refunds & Guarantee

Our deposit refunds, cancellation terms, and pass-or-refund guarantee are described in full in our Refund Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms.

7.Student Conduct

• Use the Services only for lawful, personal educational purposes.
• Do not record, copy, redistribute, sell, or publicly share the live sessions, Recordings, or materials without our written consent.
• Do not disrupt sessions or harass the instructor or other Students.
• Provide accurate information for enrollment, payment, and any refund request.

8.Intellectual Property

All course content, materials, animations, and Recordings are owned by Stats Animated or its licensors and are protected by intellectual-property laws. You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access them for your own learning. You acquire no ownership rights.

9.Disclaimers

The Site, Services, and materials are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

Stats Animated does not guarantee any specific academic outcome, grade, or exam score as a result of participating in a Cohort. Your results depend on your own effort, your course, and your instructor. Any pass-or-refund guarantee we offer is a measure of satisfaction backed by our money under stated conditions — it is not a promise of a particular grade.

10.Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Stats Animated and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages. Our total liability arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Services will not exceed the total amount you paid us for the Cohort at issue.

11.Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Stats Animated and its operators from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising out of your use of the Services, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party right.

12.Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Services, without prior notice, if you breach these Terms (including the conduct or anti-sharing rules). Provisions that by their nature should survive termination — including ownership, disclaimers, indemnity, and limitation of liability — will survive.

13.Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. You consent to the personal jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located there.

14.Changes to These Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. If a change is material, we will post notice on the Site. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
